Bridge at Plandiste – Roman Bridge
The stone bridge on the Bosna River was erected in the first half of 16th century. The bridge has seven semicircular arches and was built out of carved stone.
Location: Ilidza & Airport Area
The bridge belongs to the Ottoman period, but the material used was the remains of a Roman construction and Roman tombstones. There is also an assumption that the bridge was built on the foundation of a Roman bridge. Thus, the bridge was named the Roman Bridge. It is a protected cultural monument.
