Government Buildings Ensamble
The Government Building Ensemble consists of several impressive edifices from the Austro-Hungarian period. The Canton Sarajevo Administration Building was designed by Karl Pařík in Neo-Renaissance.
Location: Centre
The construction started in 1897 and was completed in 1904. Next to it is the Territorial Government Building (today, the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina) designed by Josip Vancas in 1884/85. This building, modeled after the Florentine Medici Ricardi Palace, reflects the neo-Renaissance style.

Another government building was built in the same style, the present-day Railway Directorate and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs designed by an architect Panek in 1895. All three were built as two-storey buildings, and were later added the third storey.
