Sarajevo Brewery was established on May 24, 1864, and will celebrate its 151st Anniversary with the opening of the Sarajevo Brewery Museum.

Historians consider it the first industrial plant in the country, which marks the beginning of economic and technological development of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The museum is a display of numerous artefacts (bottles, labels, etc) from the Ottoman period, Austro-Hungarian period. It is open daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Entry fee is 5 KM and includes a beer or juice at the HS Brewery.
