House of Alija Derzelez
House of Alija Derzelez is a splendidly designed house, and one of the oldest in Sarajevo, located in Sagrdzije Neighborhood. According to a legend, an epic character called Alija Derzelez, a hero of the Krajina battlefield, lived here.
Location: Old Town
This residential building resembles the Svrzo House (museum). It has a section for women (haremluk), men and guests (selamluk), two backyards (for women and men respectively), and a large garden.

Kolobara-han Kolobara-han was the first inn built in Sarajevo. It is a 15th c. structure built by the endowment of Isa-Bey Ishakovic, the founder of Sarajevo.The inn had 40 rooms and could take up to four hundred people and 35 horses.

Bascarsija In the medieval period, at the site of the present-day Bascarsija, there was a neighborhood called Stara varos. This neighborhood settled around one of the best markets in that area. It was called “Utorkoviste” as most of the trading was done on Tuesdays.
