Ali-Pasha’s Mosque
Ali-Pasha’s Mosque nested on the Kosevo Brook, near the mouth of the Miljacka River. This area was settled in the mid 16th century. The mosque was built upon the proposal of Sanjak Bey Hadim Ali-Pasha in 1560/61.

The stone mosque resembles the superb classic style of Islamic architecture. Next to the mosque is a large cemetery with a tomb of Ali-Pasha.
